I was born and raised in a small area of Virginia.
During my younger years I spent a lot of time roaming around outside. Exploring, and playing fantastic games of fantasy and lore that my brothers, cousins, and I would make up as we went along.
As I grew older my interest turned to books, reading and writing. But I never lost touch of the fantasy roots that had always been in our play. Less time was spent outside, more time was spent indoors with my nose buried in a book, or a notebook.
I also had a keen interest in movies from a young age, many of my favorite films are from the more classic era of the "Silver Screen" thanks to my Grandfather. But I also really enjoy horror films, thanks to my Mother, and Fantasy/Animated movies thanks to my constant child-like streak that never seems to fade.
Currently, I'm engaged to be married on June 13, 2009. My soon to be husbands name is Terry, and I'm so excited that the days seem to be counting down very quickly.
We recently moved into an apartment together, and we're still working on getting it fixed up. The other night we were talking and agree it doesn't quite feel like home yet. I told him it's probally because of all the stuff we still have to unpack.
I work Full Time Graveyard Shift at a local Truck Stop, a job that I really enjoy. I love the stories, and various places I get to hear about from the Truck Drivers that pass through.
